Bawan Wood Industries Co. (BWIC) (formerly known as Al Fozan Wood Industries Co.) was founded in 1991 as the product of the vertical expansion of the mother company, Abdul Latif & Mohammed Al Fozan, to establish a vertical industrial integration with the principal commercial line of building materials.
Bawan Wood Industries Co. (BWIC) has achieved exceptional growth in a remarkly short period of time. Not only it is one of the largest manufacturers in Saudi Arabia it is also the regions first wood products manufacturer to obtain ISO 9002 certification.

In order to place regional production centers covering the entire kingdom, Bawan Wood Industries Co. (BWIC) was launched with first factory at Dammam 2nd Industrial City on an area of 25,000 sq. meters followed by the inauguration of its second factory at Jeddah Industrial City on an area of 23,000 sq. meters. Morever supporting facilities in Riyadh and Jubail have been established to serve clients wherever they are.
BWIC imports raw material from all over the world. Depending on client requirements and end-use, the wood is sbjected to a variety of quality tests to ensure humidity levels and rot-resistance. Such quality controls are an integral part of the production process. Its products range includes wooden pallets, laminated profiles, film-faced plywood, melamine and decorative panels laminations.
The company has also made considerable investments in various facilities that are strategically located to serve the entire Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; factories in Dammam and Jeddah with a combined area of almost 50,000 square meters and supporting units in Riyadh and Jubail. The company also exports to the rest of the GCC and various Arab countries.
